TRANSLATOR AND ARCHIVE
April 17, 2025 - Published
Happy April!
So far this month, I archived the kyle14 2025 event on Itaku (where the comic is actually ordered this time!) and have pushed out Dasopya's 1.1.3 update, changing some words and adding a handful of new ones.
Dasopya's development is going pretty smoothly! We're currently at 793 root words, just a bit shy of the 800 goal, though I am considering passing it. The most notable achievement was my completion of the translation aide (yes, Dasopya already has something close to a translator!), which should majorly help learners speed up understanding of texts.
I also finally finished up a draft of the Wikibooks-style tutorial on the Kutokopo page, but it still needs some updates and proofreading. When it's finished, hopefully it'll help as a resource that actually explains things and doesn't just brush over 10 grammatical concepts!
Between the busy-ness of everything, I haven't been able to get around to working on much unrelated to Dasopya, but for the Dasopya fans, just know that I'm working on another decently-sized project in my free time...
I also finished one article, which is related to languages again:
- How Different Languages Allow Laziness
And for those looking for art, I did an FF14 themed commission for my good friend Pyke.
Thank you for reading! See you all in the next one.
